The Chelston model, part of London Bay Homes’ Naples Collection of luxury estate homes from Park Shore to Port Royal, has recently sold. Located in Old Naples, the three-bedroom, 4,227-square-foot home blends Old Florida style with modern living.

The Chelston model is designed around outdoor living. Lush tropical landscaping ensures privacy while establishing a sense of place.

The home is also conveniently located near top-rated beaches with pristine clear waters and vibrant recreation, cultural arts venues like the Naples Players and Gulfshore Playhouse and the acclaimed shopping and dining venues along Fifth Avenue and Third Street South.

“The location of the home really resonated with the homeowners, who were also attracted to the home’s design and aesthetics that embrace the Naples coastal lifestyle,” said Mark Wilson, CEO and president of London Bay Homes. It’s an ideal floor plan for most homesites near downtown Naples and showcases the kind of indoor-outdoor lifestyle so many homeowners want when they choose to live in Southwest Florida.”

Earning numerous national awards, The Chelston’s open floor plan emphasizes indoor-outdoor living and features connecting spaces between great room, kitchen and breakfast café to multiple alfresco areas. Outdoor spaces include dining and seating areas, an outdoor kitchen and a secluded fire pit – all enjoying the soundtrack of a freestanding fountain, the backdrop of a custom linear-designed pool and spa, and trellises playing with sunlight and shadows.

The Chelston offers a study, formal dining room, great room, a first-floor master suite and a generously sized second floor with a loft, wet bar and two guest rooms with walk-in closets and private bathrooms.

The home’s unique translation of coastal contemporary architecture draws inspiration from the West Indies, Old Florida and other tropical ports of call – an ambience captured inside by Melissa Allen of Romanza Interior Design with vibrant island-inspired colors, such as rainforest citrus, teal, coral, butter and eggplant against off-white backgrounds.

Allen selected natural walnut wood floors throughout main first-floor living areas and signature furniture pieces and embellished the great room’s ceiling with beams and grass cloth inspired by Venetian plaster.

An office and oversized walk-in pantry closet connect kitchen to laundry room, spaces that enhance the Chelston’s livability yet demonstrate a flexibility to repurpose the area as a hobby room, a wine cellar or a studio for specific interests.

Transom windows, a tin-style roof and an entry fountain meld with the Old Naples neighborhood’s existing homes while featuring the latest building materials and trends.

While the Chelston model may have recently sold, homeowners can build this award-winning, open-concept, custom floor plan on the homesite of their choosing or on one of London Bay’s available homesites in the Naples area.

Another option for Naples-area buyers is London Bay’s Port Royal estate at 4395 Gordon Drive. Available for purchase, the 4,667-square-foot custom home takes full advantage of its location along the coves and back bays of Naples Bay.

A custom walnut-paneled wine room with temperature-control settings for ideal storage conditions can accommodate approximately 300 bottles.

A centerpiece of the home is the master suite, which positions the bed in the center of the room facing a wall of glass sliding doors that make it easy to appreciate the home’s setting. An expansive double-entry closet features Poliform custom cabinetry with built-in dressers and mirrors.
