SARASOTA, Fla. (May 24, 2016) – London Bay Homes has started construction of its Camberdale luxury estate model home near downtown Sarasota, west of Tamiami Trail. The two-story Camberdale is located at 1806 Oleander Street, known for its tree-canopied streets, parks and homes dating back to the 1920s. The floor plan is part of London Bay’s newly introduced Sarasota Keys Collection of luxury estate homes.

The Camberdale offers four bedrooms, four full baths, a loft, one- and two-car garages and encompasses 4,377 square feet under air.

The Camberdale optimizes the traditional open great room floor plan, creating grand-scale entertaining and gathering areas. “We’re excited to introduce this stunning home in the city’s historic neighborhood of South Poinsettia,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes. “The home’s custom architecture will capture the essence of the intimate area. The design is a classic, clean and coastal contemporary style that is timeless and effortless.”

Upon entry of the home, a trio of double doors open to a light-filled gallery that embodies a transitional space defining the separation of foyer and great room with columns.

Designed for casual and formal entertaining, the dining room overlooks the pool through windows and melds indoor and outdoor spaces with sliding glass doors that open to the covered outdoor living area. This alfresco area will offer a summer kitchen equipped with an under-counter refrigerator, grill and sink.

The Camberdale will also feature a custom pool and spa.

An outdoor shower in the master suite’s private garden will be accessible through sliding doors from the bathroom’s indoor shower. The master bath will also offer a tub positioned in a bay window, a double vanity and private water closet.

Double French doors in the master bedroom open to the patio near the spa. The suite’s entry vestibule also connects to a one-car garage.

One of the Camberdale’s three guest rooms is located on the ground floor with a walk-in closet, and sliding doors to the covered living room.

The staircase opens to the second-floor loft.

Two double doors provide views of a small terrace overlooking the street. Each of the bedrooms has a walk-in closet.

The two-car garage will open into a convenient drop-off area which transitions to the walk-in pantry and a large laundry room.

The Camberdale will be shown as a fully furnished model featuring interiors by award-winning Romanza Interior Design. The home’s coastal contemporary architecture pays homage to nearby Gulf of Mexico beaches and features sea-blue painted louvered Bermuda shutters, wood-framed windows with simple grids and an emphasis on vertical symmetry. The two garages will have carriage-style doors.

The Camberdale is located just minutes from St. Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota’s Zagat-rated restaurants, locally owned boutiques and performing arts venues.

London Bay Homes, celebrating 25 years as Southwest Florida’s leading luxury homebuilder, also is building five other luxury fully furnished estates on Siesta and Bird keys.

Two models are currently underway in Spice Bay, a gated community of just 14 homes with a private dock along the Intracoastal Waterway on Siesta Key. The models include the four-bedroom, two-story Somerset overlooking Spice Bay’s tropical gardens, and the 5,010-square-foot Mandeville with panoramic waterfront views of Sarasota Bay.

London Bay has also started construction of the canal-front Cedarberry model on Bird Key, offering four bedrooms, 4,506 square feet and a new dock that can accommodate yachts up to 70-feet and provides deep-water Gulf access.

The builder has acquired additional homesites and is planning the three-story Solymar, a four-bedroom, 5,855-square-foot beachfront custom estate on a private gated street overlooking Big Pass near the northern tip of Siesta Key.

Another estate model, the four-bedroom Celadon with a boat dock is planned for Sea Plume Way, also on Siesta Key, north of Spice Bay.
