(Oct. 5, 2015) – London Bay Homes captured three awards, including Interior Design of the Year for the popular Girona model during the Collier Building Industry Association’s 2015 Sand Dollar Awards. The company also earned awards for the Capriano, capturing Product Design of the Year and Best Pool Design.
The open floor plan of the Girona, a maintenance-free luxury villa in Cortile, connects indoor and outdoor spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living and dining spaces and arched openings in the alfresco area framing views of the home’s pool, raised spa and nature preserves. The infinity-edge pool designed by Acquatico is flanked by an outdoor fireplace, tan chaises and parakeet green ceramic tables and urns. The classic rectangular design of the pool and raised spa is complemented by a cool grey oversized concrete sun deck. The spa gives the illusion of floating in the pool with its infinity edge splashing water on all sides. A second-floor private balcony and sundeck overlooks the pool. French doors in the hallway leading to the master bedroom open up to the pool deck.
