NAPLES, Fla. (Sept. 29, 2015) – London Bay Homes is nearing completion of its Chelston model in downtown Naples, one of several luxury models the builder is constructing in Old Naples.
Located at 631 Broad Court, just blocks from Naples’ Gulf of Mexico beaches, the two-story Chelston will offer a study, formal dining room, great room and a second-floor loft with a wet bar. The home will offer a first-floor master suite and two second-floor guest rooms with walk-in closets and private bathrooms.
The Chelston blends West Indies and Old Florida-inspired architecture with its transom windows, a tin-type roof, and an entry water fountain accented with Mexican beach pebble and sapphire blue granite.
The model will feature natural walnut wood floors and vibrant island-inspired colors selected by Melissa Allen of Romanza Interior Design.
Inside, Allen is introducing clean-lined British Colonial design elements, including a king-sized canopy bed, dark walnut furniture, woven accents and shades of rainforest citrus, teal, coral, butter and eggplant against off-white backgrounds.
The all-white palette of the Chelston’s kitchen will include cabinetry, glass tile backsplashes and granite countertops. The freestanding island breakfast bar will feature a waterfall counter reaching to the floor. The kitchen also will offer stainless steel Wolf, Asko and Sub-Zero appliances and an adjoining walk-in pantry and home office.
Emphasizing an open floor plan and indoor-outdoor living, the Chelston design combines great room, kitchen and breakfast café and offers multiple alfresco areas, including dining and seating areas, a summer kitchen and a private garden adjacent to the master suite.
Outdoor spaces will be accented with trellises, a freestanding fountain and a secluded fire pit. The custom linear pool will be finished with moon-hued brick mosaic glass tile.
The master suite will offer a walk-in closet and Allen is designing a Zen-like master bath, which will feature sliding doors in the shower opening to a secluded private garden offering an outdoor shower, pebble stone flooring, a wall fountain and decorative plants.
The three-bedroom, three- and one-half bath Chelston will offer more than 5,000 total square feet, including covered outdoor areas, entry and a two-car garage. It is expected to be completed December 2015.
The model represents London Bay’s commitment to luxury on-your-lot custom homes in the Old Naples area. The builder’s first model, the Southampton, sold shortly upon its completion. The award-winning company also is building the Claremont at 271 1st Ave. N and the Anguilla at 541 Neapolitan Lane in Park Shore.
The builder has also acquired several prime homesites near downtown, from Park Shore to Port Royal, with plans to begin construction in the coming months.
