NAPLES, Fla. (Jan. 14, 2015) – London Bay Homes, the exclusive builder in the lakefront Lucarno neighborhood in Mediterra, has selected Melissa Allen of Romanza Interior Design to create the interior design of the new 3,380-square-foot Eloro model.
The luxury villa model is being built with a study and third bedroom and is the follow-up version to a previous Eloro that sold in 2014 for more than $1.6 million.
A British Colonial-inspired design will feature bright whites and linen tones in glazed porcelain tile flooring, kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, and painted tongue-and-groove and beamed ceiling treatments; the neutral colors will provide the backdrop for a palette of paprika, citrine and smoke.
The new model, expected to be completed in March 2015, is located on a cul-de-sac overlooking a lake in Mediterra, Naples’ premier golf and beach club community and Collier County’s eight-time community of the year winner.
The Eloro offers an open great room with dining and seating areas, a study, three full baths and a powder room. The floor plan emphasizes al fresco living with a wall of 18-foot pocketing sliding doors opening the great room to covered outdoor living and dining areas, a summer kitchen, and a custom pool and spa.
Design features will include the foyer’s interlocking pebble stone mosaic floor, glazed 12-by-24-inch white porcelain tile installed in a running bond pattern in main living areas, and tufted upholstered chairs in citrine tiger print.
“The design style is tranquil and sophisticated luxury resort living with clean British Colonial styling,” said Allen.
White painted tongue-and-groove ceilings will accent foyer, kitchen and master bath.
The foyer will have an antiqued mirrored accent chest flanked by the tiger-print chairs.
The great room will feature 18-foot box beamed ceilings, also painted white, with three grand chandeliers and an 84-inch round table in the dining area.
The adjoining kitchen will also boast a canvas of white – white-painted cabinetry and a linear Iceland glass mosaic – paired with stainless steel and black Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. It offers a freestanding island breakfast bar with a double-compartment sink and an Asko dishwasher.
The outdoor living area and pool deck will feature sand-set shellock ivory pavers. The summer kitchen will offer a Wolf grill, Sub-Zero refrigerator, sink and river white granite countertop.
The design of the Eloro places the master suite in a private wing, with its carpeted bedroom overlooking the pool and lake and double doors in its hallway opening to the pool courtyard. A large walk-in closet provides double-door entry.
The study will be shown as a work and sitting area. It will have a poet’s writing desk with a leather wingback chair, a TV sitting area with British Colonial-inspired wood-framed chairs with nailhead trim, and a weathered oak acacia wood personal bar with a distressed iron frame.
The architecture of the model will feature ornamental metal accents at window and decorative tile medallion. The Eloro will have a tumbled paver driveway, walkway and entry in combinations of dark burnt orange, tan and charcoal.
The model is located in Lucarno, a neighborhood reminiscent of a European village within Mediterra’s Garden District of fountains and foliage.
