SARASOTA, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2014) – London Bay Homes’ two newest lakefront luxury villa homes are now open for viewing in Matera at The Lake Club in Lakewood Ranch. Matera is an intimate neighborhood of 35 maintenance-free homes by London Bay, the exclusive builder in Matera.
London Bay recently completed construction of the Carina, a three-bedroom, three- and one-half bath fully furnished model with interior design by Michael Scott of Romanza Interior Design. The Adalia, an unfurnished move-in ready home, features designer finishes selected by Scott.
The newest of London Bay’s 10 floor plans in Matera, the Carina features formal living and dining rooms, a family room, study and 3,248 square feet of living space boasting modern-classic design, with soft blue and green accents against white and gray backgrounds.
Finishes include 12-by-24-inch pearl-gray porcelain tile installed in a running bond pattern in main living spaces, a wide-planked maple floor in the study, and granite and quartz countertops in the bathrooms and kitchen.
The Carina is shown with several options, including a butler’s pantry/wine bar with a wine refrigerator, three-car garage, architectural stonework, a full summer kitchen, free-form pool and raised-tile spa. Emphasizing outdoor living and lake views, the home’s living room and kitchen open through sliding glass doors to the pool deck and outdoor areas.
Scott selected classic accents to balance clean-lined contemporary styling, contrasted dark and washed-wood finishes and introduced a color palette of aqua, sage and gray throughout the model. He also designed ceiling details to highlight tray ceilings in several rooms: The dining room has a beamed ceiling with a circular inset, the family room has painted crown molding, and the study offers a combination of beams and crown molding.
The Carina’s floor plan emphasizes openness between the family room and kitchen, the latter featuring white quartz countertops, dark-stained floor-to-ceiling flat-panel shaker-style cabinetry, and an extended island with seating for four. The kitchen also offers an urban-putty hued ceramic backsplash and GE Monogram stainless steel appliances.
Rustic wood finishes and upholstered sofas impart more classic influences in the family room, which repeats tones of gray, aqua and sage, and features a tropics-inspired dark woven chair. The built-in summer kitchen offers a stainless steel grill, quartz countertops, refrigerator and sink, and caters to al fresco dining and seating areas.
The model is offered at $1,522,090, fully furnished. For the 2,810-square-foot Adalia, Scott selected 18-by-18-inch tile for flooring in main rooms, new Venetian gold granite kitchen countertops, Giallo ornamental granite vanity tops in bathrooms, and fresco cream painted walls.
The home has a den, great room, dining area, three bedrooms and three full baths. The kitchen features stainless steel GE Profile appliances and offers a corner walk-in pantry and a freestanding center island with sink, dishwasher and breakfast bar.
The master suite offers his-and-her walk-in closets, and its bathroom has an octagonal tray ceiling, a freestanding soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed shower clad with tumbled tile in champagne gold accented with honed pencil chair rail. The large vanity has Ming gold granite countertops.
The Adalia floor plan also features tray ceilings in several rooms and a valet area off of the garage, which can be used as a mud room or tech room. Sliding glass doors in the great room and dining area open to the covered outdoor living area, showcasing an optional summer kitchen with stainless steel grill, refrigerator and sink, and swimming pool.
The Adalia floor plan offers 4,087 total square feet, including its 459-square-foot outdoor living area and a two-car garage.
