London Bay is introducing two new custom estates on Gordon Drive East, less than a block from Naples’ famed Gulf of Mexico beaches and close to Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South. Offered as luxury showcase homes in the builder’s Naples Collection, the two-story estates are located on prime corner homesites in Aqualane Shores between Aqua Court and 21st Avenue South, just south of the Gulf Shore Boulevard South intersection with Gordon Drive.

The two-story estates reflect top design trends as well as the preferences and desires of London Bay’s custom clients with open-concept floor plans, enhanced indoor-outdoor living, studies, pools with spas, kitchens with butler’s pantries or catering kitchens, and three-car garages. They also represent London Bay’s ongoing collaboration with the area’s top talents, Stofft Cooney Architects, Exteriors by Koby Kirwin and Romanza Interior Design for high-level integration of architecture, interior and landscape design from concept to completion.

Located in one of Naples’ most sought-after and prestigious neighborhoods bordering Port Royal, the estates are well into the build process, saving homebuyers valuable time while also meeting the demand for new construction and London Bay’s commitment to the highest levels of luxury, quality and safety.

“Homebuyers, more than ever, want new construction and the peace of mind that comes with it,” said Toby Cloutier, director of business development for London Bay. “Due to the scale of the custom homes in this area, buyers planning to purchase a lot and build can expect a three-year design and construction schedule. Our homes are designed with a custom approach and are more than a year into the process, which appeals to the buyer who wants to save time in the building process and enjoy the Naples lifestyle sooner.”

Construction is underway for 2075 Gordon Dr. E., a five-bedroom estate featuring tropical contemporary architecture with stone accents, a metal roof and a motor court for guest parking. The home spans 6,704 square feet under air, has six full baths and two half baths.

Well-suited for residents with a panache for entertaining, the estate features a spacious kitchen with well-equipped butler’s pantry, a wet bar and a sweeping open floor plan blending the great room, dining room and kitchen into a large venue for guests. A wall of sliding glass blurs the boundaries between inside and out, flowing to a covered lanai offering an alfresco dining room, an outdoor kitchen and a fireside living room.

Kirwin’s pool and lush landscape design creates privacy for the custom pool, which has a built-in spa and a sun shelf immediately accessible to a sun deck off the master suite’s sitting room. Created with the luxury homebuyer in mind, the master suite features a custom dual walk-in closet and two full bathrooms, one with a soaking tub and each offering a shower.

The Gordon Drive East’s first floor also features a private guest suite and a large study with custom cabinetry, a beamed ceiling and windows overlooking the pool. The estate’s three additional bedrooms, including the VIP suite, enjoy breezy balconies, a loft with a wet bar and the conveniences of a second laundry room on the second floor.

The neighboring custom estate at 2021 Gordon Dr. E. highlights indoor-outdoor living, featuring attractive coastal contemporary architecture and high-level design with finishes, furniture and interior design by Romanza Interior Design. Its open floor plan intermingles spacious great and dining rooms with the kitchen and a social room, flowing seamlessly to two covered lanais. Positioned in a sunlit corner of sliding glass and French doors, the social room enhances entertaining with a large wet bar and a direct connection to an intimate alfresco living room.

The estate offers 7,208 square feet under air, five bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths, a gourmet kitchen featuring a large island for casual dining and an open butler’s pantry equipped with a sink and additional appliances, and a large first-floor club room accommodating a full-size study with built-in cabinetry, a den and a private patio leading to the home’s putting green.

The home dedicates 1,274 square feet to covered lanais, which include two alfresco living rooms, one with a fireplace, a dining room and a kitchen with a freestanding island bar. The custom pool, designed as a scenic focal point for outdoor spaces, has a shallow sun shelf and a floating spa. Open-air outdoor gathering spaces create special destinations for the master suite and the pool’s second set of steps for a private swim.

Located in a secluded wing, the master bedroom offers a sitting area overlooking outdoor areas and the pool and two generously sized walk-in closets. Its two bathrooms, one featuring a soaking tub, are connected by an oversized glass-enclosed shower.

The estate’s second floor spans nearly 3,000 square feet and offers four en-suite guestrooms with walk-in closets, access to balconies and a large shared loft with a wet bar. Two of the bedrooms, including a VIP suite with separate sitting room, have private balconies.

Both estates emphasize a highly desirable location with beach access just across Gordon Drive and sidewalks providing a short walk to Third Street’s restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues.

“The location of these homes is fantastic,” said Cloutier. “Residents will enjoy the proximity to the beach, Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South, whether walking or hopping on their golf carts.”

The corner homesites also allowed the design team to enhance each estate’s curb appeal by relocating three-car garages to a side street, not visible from front elevations. The estates also offer natural gas and whole-home generators.

London Bay is also well into construction of a third neighboring custom showcase estate at 256 Aqua Court, expected to be completed this spring
