(March 29, 2013) – The kitchen and master suite of London Bay Homes’ Alezio, a maintenance-free luxury villa model in the Matera neighborhood at The Lake Club in Lakewood Ranch, were named the best in their category during the Home Builders Association Manatee-Sarasota Counties’ 2013 Parade of Homes.
The model, which emphasizes a connection between indoor and al fresco areas – including entry and interior courtyards and outdoor living areas – also was named best floor plan by the area’s future building and construction professionals.
Local high school students, members of the association’s Future Builders of America, toured Parade of Homes entries before bestowing the best floor plan award on the Alezio, designed with numerous options that allow buyers to customize their home to their lifestyle. The model, located in Matera at The Lake Club, a neighborhood of 35 lakefront homes built exclusively by London Bay, is shown with an optional second-floor bedroom and a full summer kitchen.
The floor plan can be built with two to four bedrooms, 2.5 to 4.5 bathrooms and 3,105 to nearly 4,000 square feet of living space.
The model’s sunny yellow kitchen, with its light wood flooring and white cabinetry, received the Parade of Homes’ Best Kitchen Award in its price range. The master suite, with a canopy bed and spa-like bathroom, won the parade’s Best Master Suite Award.

The Home Builders Association Manatee-Sarasota is a professional trade organization of local builders and associated businesses involved in the homebuilding industry. The 2013 Parade of Homes, offered Feb. 23 to March 10, featured 66 single- and multi-family homes throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties.
