NAPLES, Fla. (May 13, 2016) – On the heels of announcing its focus on building luxury custom homes in the Port Royal neighborhood, London Bay Homes has started construction of its second grand estate model home in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the United States.

The two-story Sapphire model home is being designed with a second-floor master suite and private balcony to maximize water views overlooking Cutlass Cove, the southernmost point of scenic Gordon Drive. The model will offer 4,648 square feet of interior living space and a private boat dock with access to the Gulf of Mexico through nearby Gordon Pass.

“London Bay has been fortunate to acquire several homesites with quick access to Naples’ downtown restaurants and shops and Gulf of Mexico beaches, ranked among the best in the world,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes. “People feel a connection to this area because it is authentic and genuine and represents the original Naples lifestyle. There’s a great architectural mix, beautiful mature landscaping and trees, and typically larger homesites. Our new-construction homes reflect the ambience of Port Royal and capture the many lifestyles people envision when thinking about where and how they want to live.”

Designed by Stofft Cooney Architects of Naples, the four-bedroom model home will feature a study, wine cellar, elevator, four full baths, a powder room, pool bath, and a second-floor loft with full morning kitchen.

The model’s open floor plan will feature a large great room and adjoining kitchen and dining area. The great room’s back wall of stacking sliding glass doors will open to an elevated outdoor living area overlooking the custom pool and summer kitchen equipped with a grill, refrigerator and sink. The outdoor living area will also include a fire pit, open-air deck and a trio of spouts splashing water into the pool, which will also offer a built-in spa and in-water benches.

One of the Sapphire’s three guest suites will be located on the first floor. Featuring a private full bath, the guest suite will also have a bay window overlooking the front of the home.

The spacious master suite occupies half of the second floor and will offer an oversized walk-in closet with two entrances and his-and-her-bathrooms.

The two second-floor guest rooms will offer private full baths with showers and walk-in closets.

The home’s West Indies architecture is enhanced with louvered shutters, hand-crafted bay windows with distinguished custom brackets supporting extra large overhangs with exposed rafter tails, stone cladded entry, and custom ornate railing and balustrades along the outdoor living area and balcony.

The Sapphire is located at 4395 Gordon Drive and will be fully furnished by Romanza Interior Design.

A peninsula with homes along the coves and back bays of Naples Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Port Royal is considered a boater’s paradise. The Sapphire includes membership eligibility in Port Royal Club and Cutlass Cove Beach Club.

The estate is among several luxury floor plans created by London Bay Homes for the Naples Collection, on-your-lot custom homes and models in prestigious neighborhoods from Park Shore to Port Royal. A second model, the five-bedroom, 6,358-square-foot Cayman, is also under construction at nearby 4375 Gordon Drive and will feature waterfront views of Cutlass Cove.
