NAPLES, Fla. (Nov. 16, 2016) – London Bay Homes has announced plans for its first single-family model home in the new Caminetto neighborhood, an intimate enclave introduced this summer in Mediterra, Naples’ 10-time community of the year and the No.1 best retirement community in Florida.

Construction has started on the three-bedroom, three-and-one-half bath Carmela. Showcasing a private yoga garden and water fountain from the master suite bathroom, the 3,835-square-foot Carmela will offer a formal dining room, study and open great room plan.

Additional aquatic elements will include two water features flanking each side of the walkway and views of the custom infinity-edge pool and spa through walls of sliding glass doors in the great room and cafe. Positioned adjacent to the kitchen, the cafe will also offer views of the lake, preserves and alfresco spaces, including an outdoor kitchen, seating area and fire table.

The kitchen will offer a freestanding island breakfast counter and adjoining butler’s bar with an under-counter refrigerator and pantry closet. Beamed ceilings will embellish main living areas.

The master suite will feature dual walk-in closets and a large bathroom with double-sink vanity, double-entry shower and a separate tub. A door will lead out to the walled garden featuring a rockscaped fountain.

The Carmela will offer 5,238 total square feet, including covered living areas, entry porch, and a three-car garage. Fully furnished by Romanza Interior Design, the model is expected to be completed summer 2017.

A second model, the Sonoma, is scheduled to begin construction this month.

London Bay Homes, the exclusive builder in Caminetto, is offering five single-family floor plans ranging from 3,500 to 5,000 square feet and featuring luxury options for personal expression – the hallmarks of the company’s commitment to Private Label Living. Homebuyers also will choose from three architectural styles, including transitional interpretations of Mediterranean and coastal contemporary.

London Bay Homes designed Caminetto – a neighborhood with 15 single-family homesites overlooking preserves and fountained lakes – with a focus on nature, integrating homesites into the natural landscape and preserve. The neighborhood is just a short walk to the picturesque Parterre Garden, Mediterra’s largest neighborhood park with formal gardens, fountained lake views, sitting areas, and a large reflecting pond with decorative stone frog waterspouts.

Mediterra offers luxury estates and single-family maintenance-free villas by London Bay Homes, priced from $1 million to over $7 million.

London Bay Homes, an award-winning leader in the Southwest Florida luxury home market for more than 25 years, manages all new home sales and marketing for Mediterra.

With more than 1,000 acres dedicated to open space, parks and nature preserves, Mediterra offers award-winning amenities, including the 32,000-square-foot Club at Mediterra, The Sports Club with fitness center and spa treatment rooms, and the private Beach Club along the Gulf of Mexico. London Bay Homes is offering an exclusive opportunity for new homebuyers to purchase a golf membership without the delay of what otherwise is approximately a one-year waiting list.
