Grandview at Bay Beach's amenities showcase elevated waterfront living

Grandview at Bay Beach, London Bay Homes’ new 11-story luxury high-rise on the southern tip of Fort Myers Beach, features resort-inspired amenities that encourage a vibrant, social scene and a connection to health, wellness and the area’s natural environment between Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Located in the gated community of Waterside, Grandview sets a sophisticated stage with amenities designed by Nashville-based Interior Design Associates that complement the high-rise’s island contemporary architecture.

Many of the tones and textures IDA introduced in Grandview’s sales center are carried through to Grandview’s common areas –  a palette of neutrals accented with coastal colors and a blend of natural stone, medium wood and sleek silver accents in lamps and sconces, and other lighting elements.

In the grand entry, clean-lined furniture in plush, textural fabrics of coastal hues and chrome accent tables welcome residents. Decorative lighting incorporates a decidedly modern edge, with custom chandeliers in asymmetrical shapes and metallic tones suspended above the floating staircase that gracefully curves to Grandview’s elevated amenities level, “The EL.”

“In The EL, we continued Grandview’s island contemporary theme with clean lines, distinctive textures and simple, yet sophisticated shapes,” said Jennifer Glass, president and principal of IDA.

Grandview’s amenity floor will offer a club room with gathering spaces for residents. IDA selected polished nickel starburst lighting fixtures that add modern flair and complement contemporary lounge chairs with metallic pronged bases. Additional wood-framed furniture provides conversational seating.

Built-in geometric woodwork accents flank the built-in television mounted above a linear fireplace. Shades of cerulean blue, citrine green and turquoise woven throughout the carpet anchor the room.

“A custom sectional in a creamy, luxurious texture and large, vivid pillows encourages social mingling,” said IDA’s Rachel Chiarelli, who serves as Grandview’s project designer.

Organic shapes intersect in a pewter-finish cocktail table, while an inlaid capiz shell credenza adds an element of iridescent texture.

“We designed a modern-minded bar area, combining woven vinyl, chrome-accented dining chairs with geometric patterned vinyl bar stools in a vibrant shade of citrine,” said Chiarelli. “The bar itself is a mixture of Calacatta Vena Classico marble and a luxe pewter front in a continuous solid form.”

Residents will take advantage of Grandview’s fitness center, which features state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment and motorized privacy shades. The adjacent yoga studio, complete with a mirror wall, barre, and cushioned flooring for impact absorption, provides designated space for Zen-seeking residents. Men’s and women’s changing rooms are elegantly envisioned with sleek stainless steel fixtures and finishes, along with a shimmery wallcovering in a soft blue hue with a classic mix of cream and sliver mosaic for the mirror surround.

Grandview residents can host guests in two luxuriously appointed suites that offer privacy for visitors and access to lounge areas and amenities. Creamy upholstered headboards and espresso-finished furniture combine with a brushed nickel contoured ceiling fan with wrap blades and a woven metal drum pendant lamp for an updated design. Comfortable sofas and lounge chairs provide ample space for relaxation.

A catering kitchen serves a large lanai and outdoor bar, while gathering spaces with built-in seating and fire pits designed by Innovations Design Group encourage a connection with nature and maximize outdoor views.

“We put a lot of thought into the activities and amenities that would enhance Grandview’s resident experience,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes, which has been named America’s Best Builder by Builder magazine. “Today’s buyers want to maintain healthy living and a balanced lifestyle. Grandview meets all those desires and more.”

Located on a peninsula extending into Estero Bay and only two miles from the secluded beaches of Lovers Key State Park, which is known for its wildlife sightings, shelling and dog beach, Grandview offers 1.2 miles of walking and jogging paths adjacent to an expansive private open space.

Grandview residents will also have access to the activities and amenities offered at Waterside, including swimming pools, tennis courts, a fishing pier, beach access and several nearby marinas, along with the beachfront and recreational parks, shopping and restaurant destinations of Fort Myers Beach.

Grandview’s 58 residences offer three-bedroom, three-bedroom-plus-den or four-bedroom designs with 2,400 to 2,900 square feet of living space. Kitchens feature designer cabinetry and appliances, freestanding island breakfast bars, walk-in pantries and adjoining dining areas.

Grandview’s six penthouses offer 11-foot ceilings, and private two-car parking garages with storage.

All residences include individual foyers from the elevators, affording the privacy of a single-family home with the convenience of maintenance-free living.

Grandview is the final tower in Waterside at Bay Beach and the first condominium tower to be built in Fort Myers Beach since 2008.

The Grandview sales center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Located at 4530 Bay Beach Lane, the Grandview sales center is just seven miles north of Bonita Beach Road.
