London Bay Homes’ Capriano model in Mediterra was awarded a coveted 2017 Aurora Award for best detached single-family home between 4,000 to 5,000 square feet during the 36th annual Aurora Award competition presented by the Southeast Building Conference (SEBC) and the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA).

Nestled within Lucarno – a village neighborhood inspired by the charm and classic style of Europe’s Mediterranean region – Capriano offers four bedrooms, a library, four full baths and a second-floor lounge area and sun deck.

With views of a lake and Mediterra’s Parterre gardens, the Capriano boasts 4,402 square feet of interior living space and an open floor plan that melds great room, dining area and kitchen. Pocket sliding glass doors in the great room and nearby library open to expansive outdoor living, dining and kitchen areas.

The kitchen features a freestanding breakfast bar island, walk-in pantry, and home office with built-in desk. The master suite offers an oversized combined walk-in closet and French doors opening to the pool courtyard. Its bathroom features dual vanities, a tub set in a bay window, a separate shower and a private water closet.

The second floor offers built-in wet bar cabinetry and a guest room with a full bath and private balcony.

The Capriano showcases a custom-designed pool and spa, firescape and distinctive architectural elements, including a trellis, pergola and entry courtyard with fountains. It offers a two-car garage and a detached single-car garage.

Wooden and metallic tones and bright accents of green, orange, melon and yellow impart a soft contemporary design aesthetic throughout the home, offered fully furnished by Romanza Interior Design. The Capriano in Lucarno is priced at $2,885,700.

Honoring businesses in architectural design, interior design and planning, the Aurora Award competition drew 400 entries in 55 categories within the 12-state region stretching west to Texas and Louisiana, north to Virginia and also including the eastern Caribbean.

Named a 10-time Community of the Year winner by the Collier Building Industry Association, Mediterra offers luxury estates and single-family maintenance-free villas by London Bay Homes, priced from $1 million to more than $7 million. The homebuilder’s brand promise of Private Label Living ensures quality, attention to detail, an enjoyable building process and homes that are a unique expression of their residents’ distinctive tastes.

London Bay Homes is offering an exclusive opportunity for new homebuyers to purchase a golf membership without the delay of what otherwise is approximately a one-year waiting list.
