London Bay Homes, Southwest Florida’s leading custom homebuilder and developer for nearly three decades, captured four awards at the Collier Building Industry Association’s 2018 Parade of Homes.

The winning homes are located in Mediterra and showcase the community’s stunning views, captivating interior designs by Romanza Interior Design as well as spacious outdoor dining and conversations areas that flow from the indoors spaces to create an inviting indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

“We believe in building the best custom homes, with the highest quality products and latest technology that will resonate with homeowners desiring luxury and comfort in Southwest Florida’s most desired neighborhoods,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes. “The homes awarded embody this commitment and we’re honored by the Collier Building Industry Association’s recognition of their excellence.”

Located in London Bay’s Lucarno neighborhood of lakeside villa homes, the Capriano was awarded Overall Excellence in Construction and Design in the $2.5 to $3 million category. The two-story Capriano model’s 4,402-square-foot floor plan features a great room with a linear fireplace, a wine bar and a library with pocketing sliders that open to an outdoor living and kitchen area. Views from the home include a custom pool and spa, lake and Mediterra’s Parterre Gardens - the community’s largest neighborhood park with formal gardens.

Featuring a gourmet-inspired kitchen, a dining room that opens to a covered terrace and outdoor living, dining and kitchen areas, the Sonoma model was honored in the $3 million to $3.5 million category. The Sonoma offers a bonus room, double doors in the master suite that lead to a patio overlooking a pool, and a garden shower accessible from the master bathroom. The home is located in the intimate Caminetto neighborhood of only 15 single-family homes. Caminetto is the newest of Mediterra’s Lake District neighborhoods developed by London Bay and is distinguished by its peaceful integration with its natural surroundings.

Two of the models were honored with Merit Awards. Recognized in the $4 million to $4.5 million category, the two-story 5,288-square-foot Catalina model in the Cortile neighborhood features a great room, an island kitchen and a café. The first floor also offers a formal dining room, bonus room and two guest suites. The second floor includes a loft, wet bar, a third guest suite and a sunset overlook with an outdoor fireplace. The home was also recently honored with a Bronze award at the 2018 FSPA Design Awards for its custom-designed linear pool with sun shelf by London Bay Homes’ Acquatico Pools division.

The three-bedroom, three-and-one-half bath Bettina villa model in Mediterra’s Cabreo neighborhood was recognized in the $1.5 to $2 million category. The home offers an open floor plan, with a great room, dining room, and an island kitchen with a pantry and a cafe area. The home also received top honors at the 2018 FSPA Design Awards with a Silver Award for its custom pool design by Acquatico Pools. The pool features a dramatic play of fire and water against a backdrop of swaying palm trees and soothing lighting and colorful planters. The outdoor space also features an optional outdoor kitchen.

The award-winning homes are part of London Bay’s collection of custom, fully furnished and available designs in sought-after communities throughout Southwest Florida, including Mediterra, Estuary at Grey Oaks, Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club and Downtown Naples.
