London Bay Homes has completed construction of a luxury private residence along 7th Avenue South, minutes from the vibrant streetscapes of 5th Avenue South, featuring world-renowned shopping, dining and cultural activities.

Using London Bay Homes’ already-sold Watlington model in Naples for inspiration, the Naples couple worked with the design team to develop a floor plan on their current homesite with one very specific wish list in mind: a koi pond would serve as a unique focal point for the design of the home.

The wish became a beautiful reality. London Bay Homes’ in-house design team collaborated with the couple’s Los Angeles architect to create a floor plan that positioned the master bedroom on the second floor, with a special balcony to showcase views of the koi pond and lush backyard below.

Jennifer Stevens, senior design director at Romanza Interior Design, collaborated with the couple to create a design that was reminiscent of the Watlington but personalized to include warmer wood tones and soft watercolor accents. The design blends soft ivory venetian plaster with rich drapery in sea glass, blue grey and pearl tones and a warm oak floor that serves as the ideal backdrop for a collection of the couple’s favorite furniture pieces they’ve curated over the years.

“It’s been a beautiful work in progress,” said Stevens, “and a truly collaborative creation.”

The home has generously sized spaces, which are enhanced by a spacious great room with ample space for entertaining. The connection between large indoor rooms and outdoor areas enhances the home’s entertainment quotient. The great room flows out to a covered outdoor living area featuring granite counters and natural materials, along with the koi pond on full display.

The master suite features a luxurious his-and-her vanity, with large shower and expansive two-person soaking tub by Kohler. Featuring a unique free-form shape, the tub is positioned in front of the window for dramatic effect. Solid-surface quartz countertops add an elegant touch.

Two additional guest rooms accommodate visiting guests while a study offers a multifunctional work space featuring a standup desk that can be lowered.

Additional accent elements include a large pivot front door and a glass-accent garage door.

Homebuyers looking for inspiration for new home designs on a preferred homesite or on one of London Bay Homes’ exclusive selection of prime homesites, can visit the 4,667-square-foot home Port Royal custom estate model at 4395 Gordon Drive in Naples. The estate is also available for purchase at $13,475,000. The model features personalized options, such as a custom walnut-paneled wine room with space for 300 bottles. The outdoor living areas is outfitted with outdoor kitchen complete with two 48-inch TVs with hidden audio and video equipment, along with a custom pool and spa. The great room and second-floor master suite are positioned to take full advantage of the home’s waterfront setting along Cutlass Cove.
