London Bay Homes garners top honors with 12 Sand Dollar Awards

London Bay Homes and its partners recently received 12 Sand Dollar Awards during the annual gala presented by the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sales and Marketing Council.

The Sand Dollar Awards are the highest accolades given by the CBIA, honoring the best in building, design and more.

London Bay Homes received top honors for product, interior design, sales and exceptional marketing for homes throughout Southwest Florida.

The popular Bianca model located in Mediterra garnered an astounding four awards, including Product Design of the Year in the $2.5-$3 million category, Best Kitchen Design, Best Master Suite, and Best Outdoor Living Area. Romanza Interior Design was also recognized with two Professional Trade Associate Awards for their creation of the home’s kitchen and master suite.

In Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, also recognized during the awards program for Community of the Year, a 20-year-old private residence received an entire home refresh by London Bay Renovation, garnering the top award in the $800,001-$900,000 category for Best Whole House Remodel. The team worked close with the buyers to convert the four-bedroom, five-bath Tuscan-style residence into a timeless residence affording better flow and function.

The project called for gutting the entire interior, save a few spaces like the master suite, a guest bedroom and the laundry room, and adding 500 square feet for a new guest suite. A new rectilinear design reclaimed the old design’s unused space.

Entry arches were squared things off to clean up the design and create a more useable space that also provided for an enhanced set-up for furniture.

To update the home’s dated heavy Tuscan exterior, the team removed some precast elements and lightened up the overall palette. Adding dark trim and Bermuda shutters helped transform the exterior into a clean, contemporary design that will stand the test of time.

London Bay Homes was also recognized for its innovative approach to marketing and advertising efforts for its Naples Collection of custom estates, model homes and private residences from Park Shore to Port Royal. The “Authentic Moments” campaign highlighted the builder’s brand promise of “Private Label Living” and connected its meaning through a series of vignettes that artfully captured scenes of authentic moments of homeowners gathering with friends and family to create long-lasting memories in a special place called “home.” The campaign resulted in top Sand Dollar Awards for Best Magazine, Best Newspaper Ad and Best Overall Campaign.

Capping off the successful award season, London Bay Homes Sales Executive Toby Cloutier also took home Sand Dollar Awards for Sales Person of the Year over $3 million and Sales Person of the Year based on highest volume of over $39 million.
