Homebuyers at The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf community, have two final opportunities to create the custom home of their dreams and enjoy golf membership without the wait list.

Only two homesites are available, offering a choice of sweeping views across the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship golf course and a preserve. With only 262 single-family homes in 700-acres, The Founders Club’s low-density design maximizes vistas from every home and large homesites ranging from nearly half an acre to over an acre.

“The Founders Club has been on the radar of homebuyers and golfers from across the country for some time now,” said Melissa Dovey, sales executive at The Founders Club. “We’ve had record-breaking sales as these buyers recognized the unique opportunity to build a custom home designed completely around their individual preferences in an intimate setting where you know your neighbors. The location - close to Sarasota’s white-sand beaches, shopping and acclaimed restaurants – has also been a top selling point.”

Homebuyers purchasing one of the final two lots have the choice between renowned builders London Bay and John Cannon Homes and require a minimum of 3,500 square feet of living area.

Award-winning London Bay offers an array of architectural styles and customizable one- and two-story home designs with up to nearly 6,000 square feet of living space. Open-concept floor plans seamlessly blend interior and large outdoor living spaces and feature elegant master suites, chef-inspired kitchens and garages for two to four cars.

John Cannon Homes brings more than three decades of experience designing and building award-winning luxury custom homes that fuse creativity and functionality. With impeccable attention to detail, their experienced team offers various architectural styles that effortlessly complement the aesthetic and natural beauty of the community.

Golf is a core part of life at The Founders Club and members can walk the 7,094-yard, par-72 course at their own pace, enjoying a scenic backdrop of oak, pine and palm trees, lakes, unspoiled wetlands and natural buffers of untamed landscapes. The Club also offers one of only a handful of traditional caddie programs available in Sarasota, giving members the opportunity to experience the game as it was meant to be. Membership in the Private Club is optional.

The heart of the community’s active outdoor lifestyle is the 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall. The member-owned club offers casual and fine dining, a golf pro shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The Recreation Center, which is available to all homeowners, includes Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball/pickleball Sport Court, sand volleyball courts, playground and a picnic pavilion.

Set within 700-acres of live oaks, winding roads, meandering walkways and championship golf, The Founders Club is close to Gulf of Mexico beaches, restaurants, world-class arts and cultural venues, and the University Town Center shopping mall.

Available homesites in The Founders Club are priced from $740,000 for a picturesque preserve view to $930,000 overlooking the flag on the first green, a lake and wetlands. There are no CDD fees at The Founders Club. Three new custom model homes are now open for viewing and showcase luxury designs by AR Homes, Lee Wetherington Homes and John Cannon Homes.

Visitors can stop by The Founders Club Sales Center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Exit 210
