London Bay, Southwest Florida’s premier luxury homebuilder and developer, received 10 coveted Sand Dollar Awards for Product Design of the Year, Whole House Remodel, Community of the Year, Best Public Facility and marketing excellence. The awards honored showcase estates in Naples’ Port Royal and Aqualane Shores neighborhoods, a complete beach home renovation, Mediterra and the new Acqua Bistecca restaurant and Saltleaf Marina in Bonita Springs.

The annual program, hosted by Collier Building Industry Association, recognizes the region’s top homebuilders, interior designers, architects, sales and marketing professionals and is judged by industry experts. Winners were announced during the organization’s annual gala.

“For over 35 years, London Bay has remained focused on thoughtful innovation, exceptional design and creating homes that reflect the way our clients want to live,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay. “These Sand Dollar Awards are a meaningful recognition of the creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail our teams bring to every project. We are honored to have our work recognized alongside so many talented professionals in our region.”

London Bay Homes earned the top Product Design of the Year award in the $21 million and over category for the architecture, design, functionality and creativity of its 9,643-square-foot waterfront showcase estate at 3220 Rum Row in Port Royal. Boasting timeless linear architecture with warm walnut accents and floor-to-ceiling glass, the fully furnished home features a modern open-concept floor plan and seamless connections to expansive outdoor living. Spanning two floors and six bedrooms, it offers a speakeasy-inspired club room, a showstopping wine room, a home gym, a statement-making staircase and a master suite with sought-after dual bathrooms connected by the shower. The estate recently sold.

Winning Product Design of the Year in the $16 to $21 million price range, London Bay Homes’ two-story, five-bedroom showcase estate at 2021 Gordon Drive E. in Aqualane Shores impressed judges with its light-filled interiors, clean-lined coastal contemporary architecture and resort-style alfresco amenities, including a putting green. The 7,208-square-foot floor plan introduces a dedicated social room with a full bar between the kitchen and great room and has two full bathrooms in the master suite. The fully furnished estate also features a dramatic floating staircase, an oversized butler’s pantry, a club room, two covered lanais and a custom mosaic-tile pool.

London Bay also earned the Whole House Remodel award for its transformation of a Naples-area beach house damaged by Hurricane Ian. The comprehensive renovation reimagined the home’s architecture and floor plan, improving functionality and indoor-outdoor connections while creating a welcoming luxury retreat on the Gulf designed for multiple generations.

Mediterra received the Community of the Year award in the over $1 million category, recognizing its luxury homes, comprehensive amenities and thoughtfully preserved natural setting. The 1,700-acre community’s unrivaled lifestyle is comprised of a collection of experiences including two championship 18-hole golf courses, a private Gulf-front Beach Club, exceptional fitness offerings, refined social spaces and nearly 1,000 acres of preserves, curated parks, golf and gardens.

Set on the edge of Estero Bay, Saltleaf Marina and world-renowned Chef Michael Mina’s Acqua Bistecca won the Sand Dollar Award for Best Public Facility over $5 million. The landmark waterfront destinations restored historic public access to the shoreline and serve boaters, diners and those seeking connection to an authentic Florida lifestyle. The facilities include a 72-slip marina, ship store and the 184-seat restaurant, set within preserved mangroves and wildlife habitat.

Topping London Bay’s five marketing awards, Gina Watters was recognized as Marketing Director of the Year for her visionary leadership in implementing innovative, results-driven programs as well as her personal contributions to the industry. London Bay Living, the newly rebranded luxury lifestyle publication showcasing the company’s multifaceted portfolio of luxury homes and communities, won the Sand Dollar Award for Best Magazine. London Bay also received top marketing honors for Best Website, Best Brochure and Best Video Presentation highlighting “The Beauty of Here” lifestyle philosophy.
