London Bay Homes has sold its 5,000-square-foot West Indies-inspired Somerset model in Spice Bay, leaving one remaining waterfront homesite in the exclusive gated community on Sarasota Bay.

Offering a location near Siesta Key Beach and direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, Spice Bay blends prime waterfront access in an intimate setting, near the cultural activities of St. Armands Square. The private, eight-acre gated Spice Bay community of 14 homesites is enhanced with tropical foliage and cobblestone roads. All Spice Bay homes have dock access, with 11 boat slips available to residents.

“Sarasota ranks among the top Florida cities for health, wellness and weather,” said London Bay Homes President and CEO Mark Wilson. “Spice Bay adds waterfront access to that equation, blending proximity to dining options, a lively shopping scene, and a walkable island lifestyle to create the ideal island paradise.”

The available remaining Spice Bay homesite offers buyers an opportunity for the ultimate in-home customization from London Bay Homes, a leading homebuilder and developer in Southwest Florida for more than three decades. The builder’s brand promise of “Private Label Living” means that homeowners can collaborate with the company’s in-house design team to personalize every detail of their new residence from the ground up.

“Private Label Living sets London Bay Homes apart from other brands,” said Wilson. “It’s a commitment to our customers that encompasses a complete understanding of who they are and how they want to live along with a commitment to top quality materials, client satisfaction and budget parameters.”

Homebuyers can view a virtual tour and online floor plan for London Bay Homes’ recently-sold Somerset home, which previews the possibilities for the final homesite in the exclusive community.

The four-bedroom, four-bath Somerset offers French oak flooring, detailed millwork and other designer finishes throughout its open-concept plan. An oversized freestanding island creates a focal point in the gourmet kitchen, which conveniently links to a wine room, butler’s pantry and office with an array of storage options. The dining area and great room provide easy connections to the outdoors, opening onto a covered alfresco living room and outdoor kitchen.

Outdoors, the custom linear pool includes a sun shelf for chaises and a raised spa. A fireplace provides an appealing spot for relaxation at day’s end.

London Bay Homes builds new luxury custom estates and multi-family homes, priced from the high $1 million to more than $15 million, in many of the region’s most exclusive neighborhoods and communities.
