London Bay Homes has been in the homebuilding business for 30 years and we’ve built in some of Southwest Florida’s elite communities with a wide range of luxury amenities. From our experience, choosing a community comes down to what it has to offer its residents in terms of lifestyle choices. Some homeowners want to make sure that they have easy access to signature golf courses, others need a lap pool to continue their fitness regime, and still others have had enough of cooking and prefer to have their scrumptious meals prepared for them by an executive chef. If you want to nail down your lifestyle to a few amenities that are must-haves in your hunt for a dream home, we’ve got the list for you. Here is our list of the most sought-after amenities and the London Bay Homes’ communities in which you can find them.

A Refined and Fun Clubhouse

Clubhouse1

The Clubhouse is the hub of any luxury home community and the place where most amenities can be easily grouped for mass enjoyment. Typically, clubhouses have a place to dine, a fitness center, and group activities at the very least, but any master-planned community will stand above the rest with stellar versions of all of these attributes.

Our new home communities in Naples, Florida and Sarasota, Florida have grand clubhouses ranging from more than 10,000 square feet to more than 62,000 square feet. They each feature casual and fine dining, a full calendar of social activities, and a fitness center with a variety of classes offered.

Estuary at Grey Oaks in Naples - Grey Oaks actually has two Clubhouses: East and West. The 62,000 square foot East Clubhouse and the more than 19,000 square foot West Clubhouse both have casual and al fresco dining choices and inspiring views of the fairways and lakes with a full calendar of social events for the whole family, such as live entertainment, art and cooking classes, wine socials, and more. They also offer special events like drive-in movies, laser tag, carnivals, black-tie formals, and holiday celebrations for the family.

Mediterra in Naples The 32,000 square foot Clubhouse at Mediterra has undergone some wonderful improvements and is now even more ready for some fine fun. The club has fine and casual dining, the Tavern on 18 lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, a fitness complex with tennis and bocce courts, three spa rooms, and outdoor pool with a sundeck, and the Beach Club featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar, and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas, and beverage and food menus. We’ll talk more about the Beach Club in a later section. The Club’s professional staff also keeps everyone entertained with a regular schedule of unique activities.

Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club in Miromar Lakes With more than 10,000 square feet of clubhouse space right on the water’s edge, the Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Clubhouse features gourmet dining, an indoor/outdoor lounge with a wine room, a library, billiards room, card room, 50-seat theater, and a business center.  A private "beachside" dining room provides intimate seating around a fireplace with a beautiful view of the beach and lake. Oh yeah, they have both of them.

The Founders Club in Sarasota The 24,000 square foot plantation-style clubhouse at The Founders Club offers a fine dining room, bar and grille, private dining room, and outdoor verandah overlooking an oak hammock and the 18th green. The Club’s professional staff manages a full calendar of social, sport, and wellness activities to build camaraderie between its members.  Club events include wine tastings, gourmet kitchen and cooking classes, luxury auto and boating showcases, monthly mixers, and many more programs. Your fitness regime can also get refreshed with one of the many fitness classes offered or with a turn at the Club’s fitness facility. Yoga, dance classes, or Pilates are just some of the classes offered and you can also take it outside with a workout on the Har-Tru tennis courts or the club’s basketball or sand volleyball courts.

Many of the new home communities in which London Bay builds have been built with this relationship in mind.
