London Bay Homes and BEAR Give Back to Local Children’s Programs

London Bay Homes is pleased to support a variety of charitable organizations as an important part of our ongoing commitment to give back to others in the communities where we live and work. Most recently, the Southwest Florida luxury homebuilder teamed up with Bonita Springs-Estero Association of REALTORS® (BEAR) to raise nearly $4,000 for children’s programs offered by the Bonita Springs YMCA and the Sunshine Kids Foundation, an organization that offers positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients.

The fundraiser was conducted through “How to Sell New Homes,” a two-day continuing education sales training program offered by BEAR and led by London Bay Homes’ director of sales, Roland Nairnsey. Nairnsey, a noted author, motivational speaker and nationally-recognized expert sales trainer, guided 52 participants through his proven sales process and even conducted a role-playing sales demonstration in London Bay Homes’ luxury single-family villa home: the Carina in Portofino at Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. This program was designed to help REALTORS® improve their ability to connect with customers and increase sales, but it was also successful in raising $1,844 each for the YMCA for sponsorships and the Sunshine Kids Foundation with the help of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, a Southwest Florida real estate company that facilitated the fundraising. The combined efforts of these organizations led to a total of $3,688.

“When we created the training program, we were not only thrilled to provide education and training to REALTORS®, but were most excited about the opportunity to help raise money for local charities. We chose the YMCA because they give sponsorships to well-deserving children in need and the “Sunshine Kids” because they help children with cancer in Southwest Florida have fun, while taking their minds off of their situation,” stated Nairnsey. “On behalf of London Bay Homes and BEAR, we couldn’t be happier to give back to local children in need. We are honored to have the opportunity to give and plan to continue doing so.”

London Bay Homes is proud to add the Bonita Springs YMCA and the Sunshine Kids Foundation to the list of local charities they support. As part of our Customer Referral Program, we have the honor of supporting many of our clients’ favorite charities by offering a $5,000 donation for every referral that leads to a new construction home. We’re pleased to report that over 90% of our clients would refer us to their friends and family, giving us many opportunities to give back to our community.
