When London Bay Homes first purchased the 55-acre property off Golden Gate Parkway between Airport-Pulling Road and Livingston Road, the intent was to develop a luxury home community with up to 250 luxury custom homes. However, after seeing the success of Moorings Naples' first satellite campus, the team at London Bay recognized another opportunity that would bring together leading experts in their respective fields, and Moorings Park Grande Lake was the result.
For more than 35 years, Moorings Park has provided residents and members with a unique, holistic approach to living well. This new collaboration between Moorings Park and London Bay will provide exquisite luxury homes with quality care for seniors through an independent living project with 275 residences in 17 buildings, a first for the luxury home builder. Each building will feature transitional architecture that will blend classic design with modern conveniences. Residences will range from 2,100 square feet to 5,700 square feet, with only a handful of penthouses available, and private elevators to access each residence. You can opt between two- or three-bedroom residences, plus a den, and still receive a spacious open floor plan, an expansive great room, gourmet kitchen with a center island, a luxurious master suite with walk-in closets and dual vanities in the master bathroom, and a double-bay screened lanai. The outdoor spaces of each residence in Moorings Park Grande Lake will also have beautiful and peaceful southern views of the 28-acre freshwater lake and the Naples Grande golf course, which sits next to the new independent living community.
Aside from luxury homes by London Bay Homes, residents of Moorings Park Grande Lake will have access to a Center for Healthy Living in the community’s clubhouse, which will offer physician services through a partnership with the NCH Healthcare System. The clubhouse will also offer luxury amenities such as casual and fine dining, a wellness center, a ballroom, an art studio, a salon and spa, and a resort-style pool with a sundeck. Outdoor luxury amenities will include poolside cabanas, a yoga pavilion, walking paths, and a butterfly garden.
Entrance fees for the Moorings Park Grande Lake Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) will start at $1.4 million, with monthly fees starting at $6,625. The monthly fees will include the cost of dining, health care, and other services and amenities, from weekly housekeeping to fitness classes. Seventy percent of the entrance fee is refundable when a resident leaves and the unit is resold.
The first phase of Moorings Park Grande Lake will begin in the first half of 2018 and will include 47 units in three buildings. Residents have already started to reserve and purchase their residences through the sales center located inside the Naples Grande Golf Club.
