Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club may be all about the sun, sand, and water, but Michael Scott, Senior Designer for Romanza Interior Design, is showing the subdued side of the community with the design of the new Carina model home.
The Carina is a three-bedroom, three- and one-half bath luxury villa featuring 3,281 square feet of living space. Built by London Bay Homes in the Portofino neighborhood of Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club, the Carina dazzles with Spanish-influenced architecture, custom iron double entry doors, and a terracotta barrel roof tile laid atop a clean white stucco exterior. This white exterior blends well with the transitional design chosen by Scott for the home’s interior. The design is highlighted by rich, dark-stained furniture and various shades of gray found throughout the home in stained and painted cabinetry finishes, art pieces, accents, and bedding. Gray will also be found in the gray-toned marble flooring with a brushed finish in the foyer, great room, and kitchen.
The Carina’s kitchen will follow design suit with GE Monogram stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. It will also feature a freestanding island with attached peninsula breakfast bar with seating for four and a pantry that connects to the dining room. The pantry will serve as a butler’s pantry and wine bar utilizing its cabinetry and under-counter wine refrigerator.
Setting the gray aside, Scott chose to include wide-planked hardwood flooring in the living room, formal dining room, den, and master suite. The master suite will feature his-and-her walk-in closets, as well as a large walk-in shower, soaking tub, and double vanities for the master bathroom. The master bedroom is separated from the guest rooms by the split floor plan design to ensure utmost privacy.
As with many luxury villa homes by London Bay Homes, the Carina seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor living with pocketed sliding glass doors in the living room, kitchen, and family room and double doors in the master bedroom leading out to the outdoor living and dining area. This outdoor space is set for ideal entertainment through the use of its summer kitchen, pool, and spa. With the outdoor area, covered entry, and three-car garage, the Carina boasts 4,765 total square feet.
